Concerts, Orcas and Cathedral Grove

We were headed back from Sidney on Vancouver Island to catch Chris Stapleton in Chinatown, stopping in Richmond for coffee and a snack to start our busy day.

In Coquitlam before the show, the ladies at Doughnut Love “outdid themselves.”

But one of us wasn’t feeling well: “Still sound like I’m dying… but coffee!” The Blue Meanie needed adjustments in Vancouver too. The shop owner took us to Little Italy and the Valley Bakery: “absolutely beautiful.”

From there, we spotted orcas off Nanaimo, found seashell art, and walked through Cathedral Grove Forest. We saw goats on a roof! Then came a chairlift up Mount Washington, stops at the Oyster River Potholes and Elk Falls, and Campbell River: “Another beautiful day on the island.”
