Rally and Lighthouses

We caught the Wharf Rat Rally in Digby and spent time at both Barrett’s Privateers and Minglewood. From there, Brier Island was next for whale and seabird cruises out on the water. We woke the next morning right near one of the lighthouses and spent time hunting beach glass.

We drove to Walton to catch the sunset, then headed for Baxter’s Falls in Halls Harbour, where the drone got some air time. Burntcoat Head Park came next, with the Bay of Fundy. After a coffee and laundry stop at mycoscafe in Elmsdale, we finished the day at Lawrencetown Beach.

Our last day in Nova Scotia took us to the Train Station Inn in Tatamagouche for one more coffee before we crossed into New Brunswick. “We found this amazing spot on ioverlander”: a dude and his dog running The Shire as a camping spot for travellers like us.
