Bears, Lights, and Mile Zero

A black bear was having lunch in British Columbia when we spotted it. We parked the Blue Meanie by the Liard River and set up our solar panels, then took the drone up over the water. We looked for rocks and soaked up the sun. Bison and caribou roamed the mountains, and the view was gorgeous.
At Profit River, we “decided to be bad and get some doughnuts lol”—the Harry Potter themed ones. In Fort Nelson, we finally found and fixed the leak. That night brought the northern lights. “What a show!!! Amazing northern lights!!!” The geomagnetic storm that painted the sky also killed our Starlink connection, but that was the trade.
We reached Mile Zero of the Alaska Highway at Dawson Creek. A giant beaver was waiting for us in Beaverlodge.
