Bridges, Coffee, and Coming Home

We headed into New Brunswick to see the Hartland Covered Bridge and Grand Falls. The next morning, we grabbed coffee at Le Cafe in Edmundston before crossing into Quebec. At Notre-Dame-du-Portage, we found a beach, and we stopped again for coffee at Babel Cafe in Cap-Saint-Ignace.

In Quebec City, we saw a harp. We stopped for coffee at Brasserie La Fosse in Trois-Rivières, then saw the Musée POP and the Vieille Prison de Trois-Rivières. Montreal came next: we took a cruise, stood in Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours church, and had coffee at Trois Cats.

We pulled into Port Colborne on September 16th. “What a surprise to come home to!” That wasn’t all: a cool praying mantis came to visit. We’d picked up sea glass from a Quebec beach, and back home we turned it into art with resin.
